The association of independent producers of heat from alternative fuels “GREEN HEAT” was founded in 2023 with the aim of promoting the concept of a competitive heat energy market and forming a competitive heat market in Ukraine.

The main tasks of the Association are to ensure conditions under which all market participants operate on a competitive basis, consumers get the opportunity to choose the supplier with the most favorable tariffs, and the activity of heat supply and its generation is delimited (andbundling).

The Association’s activities are also aimed at protecting the interests of producers of heat from alternative fuels.

Expected results:

• Creation of a transparent, competitive thermal energy market in Ukraine;
• Attracting foreign investments;
• Reduction of tariffs for consumers;
• Savings of the State Budget of Ukraine;
• Harmonization of the regulatory framework with European legislation.
