It was a pleasure to congratulate the newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Ukraine Radek Pech.

During the event dedicated to Ukrainian-Czech partnership, we discussed investments in energy independence of communities.

I am sure: with such reliable partners, energy-efficient and “green” transformation in Ukraine will be possible!

I have outlined our priorities in the reconstruction of Ukraine and told in detail about the draft laws developed by the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine to stimulate investment sttraction in bioenergy projects.

I am grateful to both Ukrainian and foreign investors for their active work on the development and implementation of projects on heat production from biomass that are in demand for our communities.

I am convinced that supporting investments in bioenergy during the war has clear advantages:

• heat production thanks to alternative fuels;
• reducing dependence on natural gas;
• activation of economic processes in communities.
